ORDER : SONIA GOKANI, J. 1. Today when the matter came up for hearing, learned advocate Mr. Patadiya, who is appearing for High Court Legal Services Committee for the accused has shown his preparedness to proceed with the matter. 2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent No. 1 has drawn the attention of this Court to the fact that the applicant was enlarged on temporary bail by this Court (Coram: K.J. Thaker, J.) on 1.4.2015 in Criminal Miscellaneous Application No. 6226 of 2015 in Criminal Appeal No. 821 of 2013 for the period of 21 days on the ground of helping his family members, which was from 4.4.2015 to 25.4.2015, he has never returned back. The latest report of 7.11.2017 of the I.G. (Prisons) indicates that he is still absconding. 3. I.G. (Prisons) shall provide the copy of the communication to learned Additional Public Prosecutor appraising this Court of such abscondence. He shall also provide this Court the data of those persons who, on temporary bail, after their conviction have been absconding and whose appeals are still pending. He shall also let this Court know whether such status of abscondence of the convict accused has been communicated to the High Court at any stage. If he has already communicated to his Court, the steps taken for their arrest shall also be furnished to this Court. 4. Let such report be tendered on 13.12.2017 No adjournments shall be sought on the date of adjournment.
