JUDGMENT : 1. The prayer sought for in this petition is to quash the C.C.No.1169 of 2017 pending on the file of IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai. 2. The defacto complainant and the petitioners have entered into a compromise and accordingly they have filed an affidavit to that effect, that the petitioners are willing to compound the offences in C.C.No.1169 of 2017 pending on the file of the IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai. 3. The second respondent/defacto complainant and the petitioners who are the accused in the aforesaid case are personally present before this Court and they have been identified by the Inspector of Police/First Respondent herein. 4. In view of the compromise arrived between the parties, the case in C.C.No.1169 of 2017, pending on the file of IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai is quashed. Both the parties are at liberty to compound the offence. With the above observations, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
