JUDGMENT : 1. Writ petition is of the year 2010. 2. Through the instant writ petition petitioner seeks quashment of Short Term Tender Notice DULB/2010 dated 07.06.2010 issued by respondent No. 2. 3. Objections have been filed by respondents 2 to 5. The petitioners’ grievance is that pursuant to NITs dated 23.03.2010 and 24.04.2010, they have been allotted contract of supplying of Electric Disinfectants and Tools and Plaints by Municipality of Chenani and Bhaderwah. They Challenge Short Term Tender Notice dated 07.06.2010 stating that it is overlapping the aforesaid earlier NITs. 4. On the contrary, the stand taken by the respondents 2 to 5 in objections is that Short Term Tender Notice dated 07.06.2010 has been issued by Director, Local Bodies, Jammu- respondent no. 2 for the purchase of material mentioned in the notice for all the Municipal Councils/ Municipal Committees of the entire Jammu province on a uniform rate in order to streamline the system. According to the respondents the petitioners have obtained order of supply of material from two committees only, and the impugned Short Term Tender Notice dated 07.06.2010 is in relation to the purchase of material for all the Municipal Councils/ Municipal Committees of the entire Jammu province, therefore, there is no question of petitioners’ having any grievance. In any case, there is nothing on record to suggest that the impugned Short Term Tender Notice dated 07.06.2010 is arbitrary or issued with malafide intention. The NIT in which petitioners participated has not been issued by respondent No. 2 but by other respondents for purchase of material for all the Municipal Councils/Municipal Committees of the entire Jammu province. This Court is not inclined to interfere in the tendering process, writ petition is dismissed.
