JUDGMENT : AMOL RATTAN SINGH, J. 1. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that pursuant to other persons, similarly situated as the petitioners having filed various writ petitions before this Court, the main case being CWP No. 17115 of 2015, the respondent State promoted such similarly situated persons in a lower cadre, to the post of Fire Station Officers, not on the basis of the rules notified in the year 2016, but on the basis of the earlier rules of 1998, even though the new rules had come into existence and as such, the petitioners are entitled to (as contended), a similar relief even on a higher post. 2. A similar petition is also stated to have been disposed of by a co-ordinate Bench on 17.07.2017 (CWP No. 12789 of 2017), with a direction to the respondents to take a decision on the representation made by those petitioners, within a specified period. 3. The petitioners in the present case are also stated to have made a representation to respondent no. 2, a copy of which has been annexed as Annexure P-12 with the petition. 4. Consequently, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority amongst the respondents to decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioners, Annexure P-12, by passing a speaking order within a period of 03 months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
