JUDGMENT : AMOL RATTAN SINGH, J. 1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the case of the petitioner is covered by the judgment of this Court passed in a bunch of writ petitions, the lead case being CWP No.17899 of 2017, decided on 01.09.2017, he being similarly situated as those referred to as the first set of the petitioners in the aforesaid order. 2. The petitioner is stated to have been transferred out of Jind depot within 13 months of his having been posted there. 3. Though the petitioner has approached this Court more than 5 months after his transfer from Jind to Charkhi Dadri vide the impugned order dated 07.04.2017 (Annexure P-2), the transfer being within 13 months, there are still 7 months left for the petitioner to complete two years at Jind, and as such his case would be covered by the “1st set of petitioners”, referred to in CWP No.17899 of 2017 and other connected petitions, decided on 01.09.2017. 4. Hence, the impugned order is hereby quashed. The writ petition is allowed, but with no order as to costs. The respondents are directed to examine the case of the petitioner upon his completing two years of service at Jind in terms of the directions given in the aforesaid judgment, i.e. CWP no.17899 of 2017. 12.9.2017.
