JUDGMENT AND ORDER : Heard learned counsel, Mr. K Roy for the petitioner and learned counsel, Mr. DC Nath for the State respondents. 2. By filing this writ petition, the petitioner prayed for recording the land in his possession in the Record of Rights in his name. 3. The petitioner contended that his father, Late Binode Behari Das entered into the State of Tripura as a refugee and he was allowed to occupy land measuring 18 kanis at Mouja Pabiacherra and after the death of Binode Behari Das, the petitioner and other legal heirs have been occupying the land and they have approached the respondent No.3 to take legal steps for recording the land in their name but nothing has been done. 4. A representation was made by the petitioner on 24.10.2007 before the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Annexure-D to the writ petition) and another representation was submitted on 14.09.2011 by the petitioner and others but those representations have not been disposed of by the respondent as yet. 5. Learned counsel, Mr. Roy has fairly submitted that the official respondent No.3 may be directed to dispose of those representations of the petitioner at an early date. 6. Learned counsel, Mr. Nath has no objection to have such a direction. 7. Hence, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.3 to dispose of the representations of the petitioner dated 24.10.2007 (Annexure-D to the writ petition) and representation dated 14.09.2011 within two months from today. 8. The petitioner shall submit a copy of those representations to the respondent No.3 within 10 days from today so that necessary steps may be taken by the respondent No.3. 9. A copy of this order be furnished to Mr. Roy, learned counsel for the petitioner. A copy of this order also be handed over to learned counsel, Mr. Nath for communicating the same to the concerned respondent. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
