Judgment and Order : 1. Heard Mr. K. Nath, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as Mr. T.D. Majumder, learned G.A. appearing for the respondents. 2. In terms of the order dated 03.01.2017, Mr. Arindam Nath, IPS holding the post of the Superintendent of Police (SB), has filed the report of re-evaluation of the answer script of Jakir Miah, the petitioner herein, after taking strenuous exercise of checking the said answer script related to the selection for the post of Constable (Man) in the Tripura Police. After opening the sealed cover, under which the report has been placed before this court, it appears that the marks did not change as the final mark after fresh evaluation is the same to that of which was given to the petitioner earlier. 3. The total marks secured by the petitioner is 60. The persons, who were appointed, secured 60.5 and there are huge number of candidates who secured 60 marks in the selection process. As a result, this petition does not have merit, inasmuch as, the entire challenge is structured on the fact that the answer script was not properly evaluated and the petitioner averred and claimed to get more marks than what has been awarded by the examiners. But, finally by the special evaluation made by the order of this court, it surfaces that the petitioner has secured the same mark. 4. Therefore the challenge fails, and accordingly this petition stands dismissed. The report of the fresh evaluation as submitted by Mr. Arindam Nath, IPS, can be made part of this record. There shall be no order as to costs. 5. This court records its appreciation for Mr. Arindam Nath, IPS, presently holding the post of Superintendent of Police (SB) for rendering his service in the determinative process of this court. The record as produced by Mr. T.D. Majumder, learned G.A. is returned.
