JUDGMENT : AMOL RATTAN SINGH, J. 1. In response to the notice issued on 12.09.2017, Mr. Hitesh Pandit, Addl. A.G., Haryana, submits that as regards the instructions relied upon by the petitioner, i.e. Annexure P-2, they are applicable only to the schools of Haryana as is obvious from the fact that the said instruction/order has been issued by the Financial Commissioner and Principal Secretary to Government of Haryana, Department of Education, to District Education Officers and District Elementary Education Officers in the State, within whose jurisdiction Government schools, including elementary schools fall, and not colleges. 2. Hence, the petitioner having been removed from service as an Extension Lecturer at the Government College, Mahendergarh, on account of a regularly selected person having been posted to the said college, as an Assistant Professor in Sanskrit, there would be no place to which the petitioner could be adjusted at the college. 3. Therefore, the prayer of the petitioner to put the Department of Higher Education Haryana on the same footing as the schools of Haryana, is hereby rejected. 4. However, learned counsel for the petitioner has produced in Court today, a photocopy of a document which is shown to be a notice signed by one Sh. Manoj Verma, Superintendent, (with no department etc. given, to which the said Superintendent belongs), by which notice it is stated that all eligible Extension Lecturers who have been displaced, can contact the Principals of Government Colleges of their choice, for adjustment as Extension Lecturers even by e-mail etc. 5. If the said notice has indeed been issued, obviously, the petitioner would be free to make an application to any Principal of a Government college with the State of Haryana, where he thinks he can be adjusted, on the basis of his having remained an Extension Lecturer in the subject of Sanskrit at Government College Mahendergarh. 6. With the aforesaid observation, this petition is disposed of. 7. If the petitioner is not adjusted at the college in which he applies and the petitioner has a grievance in that regard, he would be obviously at liberty to approach the Director Higher Education, Haryana.
