JUDGMENT : AMOL RATTAN SINGH, J. 1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioners' grievance is that though he and one Jitender (Roll No. 1001058424), completed the running competition in almost the same time, the said Jitender was awarded 15 marks out of 15, whereas the petitioner was awarded 13 marks, thereby making his total marks 61.75 out of 100, with the last selected candidate in the BC 'B' category having secured 61.9 marks. 2. In respect of the grievance of the petitioner, he is stated to have got issued a legal notice dated 28.07.2017, to the Secretary of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission, a copy of which has been annexed as Annexure P-7 with the petition, which is stated to have still not been decided. 3. Consequently, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the Secretary of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission, or if the record has been sent to the Police Department, then the competent authority in the said Department, to decide the aforesaid legal notice, by passing a speaking order, answering each of the contentions raised therein, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. 4. The authority passing the speaking order shall do so after duly seeing the videography conducted of the running competition.
