ORDER : Arun Bhansali, J. This writ petition was filed by the petitioner questioning validity of the charge-sheet dated 30.05.2014 (Annexure-1) issued to the petitioner. 2. By interim order dated 04.12.2014 a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court stayed further proceedings pursuant to the charge-sheet. 3. An additional affidavit has been filed by the petitioner alongwith copy of the report submitted by the Enquiry Officer. 4. It is submitted that on account of subsequent developments, pertaining to the issue, which led to the issuance of charge-sheet to the petitioner, the Inquiry Officer has by his report dated 30.10.2017 opined that the charge-sheet was liable to be cancelled. 5. In view of the fact that the petitioner had questioned validity of the charge-sheet and the Inquiry Officer has found in favour of the petitioner, the writ petition filed by the petitioner has now been rendered infructuous. 6. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous with a direction to the respondents to deal with the matter as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four weeks, as in the meanwhile, the petitioner has retired.
