ORDER : 1. Filed in public interest the petitioners allege encroachment over land comprised in khasra Nos. 336/730, 339/729, 349, 350, 425, 432, 624, 625, 626 and 627, admeasuring 42.19 hectare in Village Dundpuri. As per the Jamabandi annexed as Annexure-2 to the writ petition, the land is entered in the revenue record as Gochar land. The petitioners claim to have submitted representations to the District Collector, Alwar on 28.12.2015, 18.01.2016, 20.06.2016 and 24.04.2017 but claimed that the District Collector is taking no action. 2. Indeed, it is the duty of the District Collector to ensure that nobody encroaches upon common grazing ground. 3. We dispose of the petition directing the District Collector, Alwar to take cognizance of the present order and the writ petition filed. Enquiry would be made by the District Collector and if encroachments on afore-noted land on the khasras above referred to are noted, action as per law would be taken against the encroachers. 4. The petitioners shall obtain a certified copy of the present order and along with the writ petition and its annexure would deliver the same in the Office of the District Collector, Alwar, who shall proceed in terms of the directions issued hereinabove and complete the necessary process contemplated by law within six months from receipt of the present order.
