JUDGMENT : Ajit Singh, J. Heard on admission. 2. This intra-court appeal is directed against the order dated 23.11.2016 passed by the learned Single Judge of this High Court whereby he has dismissed appellant’s WP(C) No.3476/2013. 3. The Director of Secondary Education, Assam published an advertisement dated 8.2.2003 for appointment to the post of Post Graduate Teacher in different subjects in the provincialised Higher Secondary Schools. Large number of candidates including the appellant participated in the selection process. On 6.4.2013 select list was published by the Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Assam, Secondary Education Department. Since the appellant was not selected he filed WP(C) 3476/2013 which the learned Single Judge has dismissed by the impugned order. 4. While dismissing the writ petition, the learned Single Judge has taken note of the order dated 5.9.2016 passed in another WP(C) 1955/2013 by which the validity of select list dated 6.4.2013 has been upheld. The learned Single Judge after perusing the documents brought on record has also held that 5 marks were properly awarded to the appellant under the heading “Teaching Experience”. 5. The learned counsel for the appellant could not point out any illegality in the order passed by the learned Single Judge. He also could not show anyone having secured lesser marks than the appellant has been given appointment pursuant to the selection process. We, therefore, find no merit in the appeal. It is accordingly dismissed.
