The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition and has also made an endorsement in the writ petition to that effect and the counter affidavit on behalf of Corporation of Chennai has also been filed. 2. In view of the submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed.
