JUDGMENT : 1. Petitioner was appointed as Gram Rozgar Sewak vide order Annexure A dated 31.03.2012 issued by respondent No.3 in Panchayat Baryoon Dara Block Thanamandi, District Rajouri and is continuously working on the said post till date. 2. Short grievance of the petitioner is that despite work being taken from the petitioner w.e.f the date of his appointment till date, no salary has been paid to him despite representation. Respondents are also alleged to have threatened the petitioner to disengage him from service in case he presses for release of salary. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner would be satisfied if the writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.3 to consider and decide the representation Annexure C and Legal Notice Annexure D dated 13.07.2017 in accordance with rules and regulations applicable. 3. Notice of motion to respondent No.3 only. Mr. Ashish Singh Kotwal learned Dy.AG accepts notice and states that he has no objection to the limited prayer of the petitioner. 4 Statement of learned counsel for the parties is taken on record. Writ petition is taken on board and is disposed of by directing respondent No.3 to consider and decide the representation Annexure C and Legal Notice Annexure D dated 13.07.2017 in accordance with the rules and regulations applicable as expeditiously as possible. Needless to mention, in case it is found that the petitioner has rendered service and is entitled to the salary for the period he has worked in accordance with the rules, the same be released to him within a period of two weeks from the date decision is taken with regard to the entitlement of the petitioner for release of salary. 5. With the aforementioned directions, writ petition is disposed of.
