JUDGMENT : 1. The petitioners state that they have worked as Casual Labourers with the Public Health Engineering Department for the period between January, 2006 to February, 2008, but have not been paid their wages for the said period. 2. Learned counsel for the respondent Nos. 1 to 3 had been directed to file objections but despite repeated opportunities nothing has been done in this regard. 3. Interestingly, it is not out of place to mention here that in the objections filed on behalf of the respondent Nos. 4 to 5, a stand is taken that requisite funds stand remitted to the Public Health & Engineering Department for further disbursement among the claimants. 4. With the consensus of the learned counsel for the parties, this petition is disposed of at this stage with a direction to the respondent Nos. 1 to 3 to determine the eligibility of the petitioners and in case they have worked for the period between January, 2006 to February, 2008, they be paid their wages for the said period along with 7% interest per annum. 5. Disposed of accordingly along with connected MP.
