JUDGMENT : 1. Learned counsel contends that the petitioner applied for one of the posts of RET in Social Science (SST) in MS Chani Mana Zone Khour along with other candidates, who had applied for post in other subjects. One of the candidates, who had applied for the post of RET in Hindi, challenged the empanelment of the candidates in the subject of Hindi by way of SWP No.1853/2014 whereupon this Court while issuing notice restrained the official respondents from finalizing the select list. 2. Learned counsel contends that the petitioner has applied for post of RET in Social Science (SST), therefore, has no connection whatsoever with the challenge in the aforementioned writ petition nor can the order in the said writ petition be construed as operating as a bar to the declaration of the result of the post of RET for other subjects other than RET in Hindi. 3. Learned counsel states that the petitioner would be satisfied if the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to finalize the selection for the post of RET in Social Science (SST) in accordance with the rules and regulations applicable. 4. Notice of motion. Mr. Ravinder Gupta, learned AAG accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and states that he has no objection to the limited prayer of the petitioner subject to the condition that there is no legal impediment to the finalization of selection. The same satisfies learned counsel for the petitioner. 5. Statement of learned counsel for the parties is taken on record. With their consent, writ petition is taken on board and is disposed of by directing the official respondents to finalize the selection for the post of RET in Social Science (SST) in accordance with the rules and regulations applicable and pendency of the aforementioned writ petition shall not be taken as a legal impediment in the finalization of the selection process for the post of RET in Social Science (SST). Needful be done as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. With the aforementioned directions, writ petition along with MP stands disposed of.
