ORDER 1. Perused the Office Report dated 6-1-2017. 2. Mr. Atmaram Nandkarni, learned Additional Solicitor General appearing for the respondents has furnished a copy of letter dated 7-1-2017 issued by the Deputy Secretary to the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, after giving a copy thereof to Mr. Kapil Sibal, learned Senior counsel appearing for the petitioner, in the Court today mentioning therein that Mr. Avinash Rai Khanna – Respondent No.4 herein, has expressed his unwillingness to work as Member of the National Human Rights Commission due to domestic exigences, which is taken on record. 3. After having gone through the aforesaid letter given by the learned Additional Solicitor General, nothing remains in the Writ Petition and the same is dismissed as having become infructuous. 4. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of this case, the question of law is kept open.
