JUDGMENT : 1. The short grievance projected by the petitioner in this petition is that she was selected and appointed as General Line Teacher vide order No. 3818-4118 dated 24.06.1995 issued by the Chief Education Officer, Doda and thereafter she was transferred in the office of Zonal Education Officer, Bhaderwah. The petitioner was promoted as Master vide Director School Education Jammu’s order No. DESEJ/Nh/na/prom/6484 dated 15.07.2011 and the petitioner was posted in MS Chakka. 2. The petitioner further submits that in the month of January, 2017, the petitioner lost her father-in-law. Mother-in-law of the petitioner, who is 72 years old, is suffering dementia, diabetes and degenerative disk prelapse and is usually on cathedral as she cannot move on her own to the bathroom. She is totally bed ridden and needs bed pot and pan for answering the call of nature for which purpose the petitioner has to feed her as well as attend to her other natural calls. Besides, the petitioner has one child to look after and there is no body in the house as the husband of the petitioner is also a government employee of R&B Department and has to travel 80 kilometers daily. 3. The petitioner further contends that she has been transferred from MS. Chakka to MS Chattra, which is 12 kilometers away from road and 5-6 kilometers uphill on foot on bridle path, vide order No. 936-DSEJ of 2017 dated 22.07.2017, during the mid session in winter zone. The petitioner immediately approached to the respondents by way of representation dated 27.07.2017 thereby seeking modification of order dated 22.07.2017 on humanitarian grounds but till date the representation of the petitioner has not been decided by the respondents. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this petition can be disposed of at this stage with a direction to the respondents to accord consideration to the representation stated to have been filed by the petitioner. 5. Her statement is taken on record. 6. Keeping in view the nature of controversy, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to accord consideration to the representation (Annexure-E to the petition) and decide the same within a period of four weeks from the date copy of this order is served on them. Till then the petitioner shall not be disturbed. 7. The writ petition is disposed of as above along with connected MPs.
