JUDGMENT : AMIT RAWAL, J. 1. Contention of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that after passing of order dated 19.11.2014 (Annexure P-2), mutation No.3085 was stayed on some statement made by Amarjit Kaur and Pritam Kaur, which was ultimately found to be incorrect on the premise that the Regular Second Appeal was dismissed and the stay granted in the civil suit was also vacated. An application for re-starting the mutation proceedings was made. The factum of the same is reflected from the zimni order dated 10.8.2016 and the dates given in paragraph 2 of the writ petition. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would be satisfied in case a direction is issued to respondent No.3-Sub-Divisional Magistrate-cum-Assistant Collector Ist Grade, Payal, District Ludhiana to culminate the proceedings of mutation. 3. Without going into the merits and de-merits of the matter, I direct respondent No.3-Sub-Divisional Magistrate-cum-Assistant Collector Ist Grade, Payal, District Ludhiana to culminate the mutation proceedings as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 4. Writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction.
