JUDGMENT : Mahendra Dayal, J. 1. Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned AGA for the state. 2. This application under Section 483 of Cr.P.C has been filed by the applicant for a direction to the court below to expedite the trial of the case arising out of Case Crime No.144/2015, under Section 306 IPC, relating to Police Station Mahanagar, Lucknow pending in the Court of Additional Sessions Judge-1, Lucknow. 3. It is contended by the learned counsel that a perusal of the charge sheet reveals that there are 17 witnesses out of which 8 witnesses are senior citizens and two have passed away, but the court below has not decided the aforesaid case. 4. Keeping in view the aforesaid facts and the prayer made by the applicant, the present application under Section 483 Cr.P.C., is disposed of with the direction to the court of learned Additional Session Judge-I, Lucknow to expedite the proceedings of case arising out of Case Crime No.144/2015, under Section 306 IPC, relating to Police Station Mahanagar, Lucknow and to make every endevour to decide the same as early as possible.
