JUDGMENT & ORDER : 1. Heard Mr. D.K. Biswas, learned counsel and Mr. G.K. Nama, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Ms. A.S. Lodh, learned Addl. G.A. appearing for the respondents. 2. Both these writ petitions, being W.P.(C) No.307 of 2016 [Bharat Chandra Shil vs. State of Tripura and Others] and W.P.(C) No.308 of 2016 [Nishor Sinha vs. State of Tripura and Others] are taken up together as an identical question wades through these writ petitions for disposal by a common judgment and order. 3 Ms. A.S. Lodh, learned Addl. G.A. appearing for the respondents on 20.01.2017 had categorically stated by producing the records that there was no post of Veterinary Assistant or equivalent in the Forest Department nor is there any post of Animal Resource Development Assistant and as such there had been no occasion to consider the petitioners for those posts. That apart, Ms. Lodh, learned Addl. G.A. has produced the communication under No.F.1-10/Estt./P/L/DSZP- 2014/2119-20 dated 17.01.2017, wherefrom it transpires that both the petitioners have by now joined as Forest Firm Worker (FFW) and their names appear at serial No.43 [Sri Nishor Sinha, the petitioner in W.P.(C)308 of 2016] and at serial No.49 [Bharat Chandra Shil, the petitioner in W.P.(C)307 of 2016]. This is a Government record signed by the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests of Tripura. 4. In view of that, Mr. D.K. Biswas, learned counsel asked for accommodation to take instruction for the petitioners in this regard. Today none appears for the petitioner. 5. In view of the said communication dated 17.01.2017 as produced by A.S. Lodh, learned Addl. G.A., this court does not have any hesitation to hold that both the writ petitions have become infructuous and accordingly, those are dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
