1. Petitioners claim that they are working as casual labourers on need basis in the M&RE Division of Power Development Department since the year 2013 as per particulars given in Annexure A. 2. Grievance of the petitioners is that the petitioners fulfil the eligibility conditions mentioned in the policy applicable, but despite the same their names have not been forwarded by respondent Nos. 2 to 4 to respondent No.1 although names of persons who were engaged on need basis in M&RE Division of Power Development Department later than the petitioners have been forwarded by respondent Nos. 2 to 4 to respondent No.1 3. Learned counsel contends that respondent No.4 has already prepared bio data of the petitioners as is attached along with the writ petition as Annexure A and the same is required to be forwarded by respondent Nos. 2 to 4 to respondent No.1 in order to enable consideration of the names of the petitioners for regularization of their services in accordance with policy applicable and that in the circumstances, the only prayer of the petitioners is for directions to respondent Nos. 2 to 4 to forward their bio-data as prepared by respondent No.4 to respondent No. 1 for consideration of their claim for regularisation in accordance with the policy applicable. Learned counsel contends that the petitioners have also made representation to respondent No.1 i.e Annexure B but till date no action has been taken in respect thereto. 4. Notice of motion. Mr. Ahatsham Bhat learned Government Advocate accepts notice and states that he has no objection to the limited prayer of the petitioner. 5. Statement of learned counsel for the parties is taken on record. Writ petition is taken on board and is disposed of by directing that in case the petitioners fulfil the criteria stipulated for forwarding their names for regularization, then in that eventuality, respondent Nos. 2 to 4 shall forward the details of the petitioners to respondent No.1 for consideration for regularization of their services in accordance with rules and regulations applicable. Needful be done within period of two weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 6. With the aforementioned directions, writ petition is disposed of.
