JUDGMENT : 1. Learned counsel contends that in response to the applications for information with regard to sterilization programme of dogs and other issues relating to the welfare of the animals, the petitioner deposited Rs.5,000/- in response to three RTI applications dated 27.06.2017, 28.06.2017 & 29.06.2017. Pursuant to directions to the above effect by the respondents, thereafter another sum of Rs.2,000/- was deposited on 03.08.2017. Information is claimed to have been prepared by the respondents but has not been furnished to the petitioner. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner would be satisfied if the writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent Nos.3&4 to take action to furnish the information sought for. 3. Notice of motion. Mr. S.S. Nanda, learned Sr. AAG accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and states that he has no objection to the limited prayer of the petitioner. 4. Statement of learned counsel for the parties is taken on record. Writ petition is taken on board and with consent of the parties, the same is disposed of by directing respondent Nos.3&4 to take action on the RTI applications submitted by the petitioner for supply of information sought for in accordance with the rules applicable as expeditiously as possible preferably within one week from the date of submission of certified copy of this order especially in the light of the stand of the official respondents in Annexure-B i.e. Communication No.VPHS/MVO/161 dated 18.07.2017 as well as Communication No.JMC/TPT/469-72 dated 22.07.2017 that the information sought for was ready but the same would be released on deposit of amount stipulated therein and the amount in question has already been deposited by the petitioner. With the aforementioned directions, writ petition alongwith connected MP is disposed of.
