JUDGMENT AND ORDER Ajit Singh, J. 1. In the present appeal, the appellant has prayed for setting aside the order dated 22.7.2016 passed by the learned Single Judge of this High Court in WP(C) No.3168/2016. 2. In the writ petition, the appellant prayed for a direction to the authorities of the Health Department to conduct a detailed enquiry to ascertain the correct age of Dr. Atindra Kumar Adhikari. The learned Single Judge relying upon the decision of the Supreme Court in Devki Nandan Verma vs. State of Haryana, 1995 Supp (3) SCC 431 has held that issue regarding date of birth of a Government servant is a matter between the person concerned and the State Government and no other person has locus standi to prefer a caveat in such a matter. We find ourselves in complete agreement with the view taken by the learned Single Judge. 3. The appeal has no merit and is accordingly dismissed.
