JUDGMENT : DEEPAK SIBAL, J. 1. Through this petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C., the petitioners seek grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No. 119 dated 07.10.2015, registered under Section 420 IPC, at Police Station Sadar, Sri Muktsar Sahib. 2. While issuing notice of motion on 11.05.2016, this Court had granted ad-interim anticipatory bail to the petitioners, subject to their joining investigation and conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. 3. In order to show the bona fides of the petitioners, learned counsel for the petitioners has handed over a cheque (bearing No.068386 dated 11.01.2017 in the name of Gurmeet Singh – respondent no. 2) for Rs. 4,08,500/- to learned counsel for respondent no. 2. The same has been paid and accepted, subject to further orders to be passed in the trial. 4. Learned State counsel submits that the petitioners have joined investigation and are no longer required for questioning by the investigating agency. 5. In view of the above, the petition is allowed and order dated 11.05.2016 granting ad-interim anticipatory bail to the petitioners is made absolute subject to the conditions prescribed under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
