JUDGMENT : 1. The petition is admitted to hearing. 2. With consent of the learned counsel for the parties, the matter is heard finally. 3. In this writ petition, the petitioner inter alia seeks a direction to the respondents to pay the rent of the building of the petitioner, situated at Village Jamola, Tehsil Koteranka District Rajouri which is under occupation of the Sheep Husbandry Department, Rajouri w.e.f 01.11.2007 till date. 4. When the matter was taken up today, learned counsel for the petitioner had let out the building in question to the Sheep Husbandry Department on 01.11.2007. Thereafter the rent of the building was assessed and was also approved by the Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri, however, the rent has not been paid to the petitioner. It is further submitted that the petitioner be granted the liberty to submit a representation with regard to his claim to respondent No.4, District Sheep Husbandry Officer, Rajouri and the aforesaid authority be directed to decide the representation submitted by the petitioner by a speaking order within a fixed time limit. 5. On the other hand, Mr. Sanjeev Padha, learned GA states that in case the representation is filed, the same shall be dealt with in accordance with the law. 6. In view of the aforesaid submissions and in the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction that in case the petitioner submits representation before the respondent No.4, District Sheep Husbandry Officer and the aforesaid authority shall decide the representation submitted by the petitioner in the light of Annexure E appended with the writ petition, by a speaking order within a period of six weeks from the date of certified copy of the order passed today. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion with regard to the merits of the claim of the petitioner. 7. With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of along with connected MP.
