ORDER 1. Heard Mr. Parthiv K. Goswami, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Issue notice. 3. As Mr. Debojit Borkakati, learned counsel has entered appearance on behalf of the State of Assam, no further notice need be issued. We have been apprised that a copy of the petition has already been served upon the learned counsel for the State of Assam. No notice need be issued to the other respondents for the time being. 4. Let a copy of this petition be served on Mr. Gaurav Sharma, learned counsel, who ordinarily appears for the Medical Council of India. 5. As an interim measure, it is directed that the petitioner shall be permitted to participate in the counseling that is going on today, subject to further orders of this Court. Learned counsel appearing for the State of Assam shall inform the Director of the Medical Education, Assam, forthwith about the order passed today.
