body2018
JUDGMENT : Mahabir Singh Sindhu, J. The present petition has been filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of regular bail to the petitioners in case FIR No.65 dated 08.03.2017, registered under Section 136 of the Indian Electricity Act, 2003, registered at Police Station Ladwa, District Kurukshetra. 2. It is contended by learned Counsel for the petitioners that in this case, charges have already been framed and the case is triable by the Magistrate and maximum punishment is three years and the petitioners are in custody since 27.03.2017. 3. In view of the fact that the trial will take a long time, no useful purpose would be served by keeping the petitioners behind the bars and thus, it would be just and appropriate if the concession of bail is granted to the petitioners. Consequently, this petition is allowed. Petitioners-Dilshad and Julfan be admitted to bail on their furnishing bail bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of the learned trial Court.
