JUDGMENT Chandrashekhar, J. – 03/16.05.2018 A copy of letter dated 02.04.2018 of the Department of School Education and Literacy is taken on record. 2. Prayer in this batch of writ petitions is for a direction upon the respondent-State to pay leave encashment to the petitioners. 3. Mr. Rajiv Anand, the learned G.A.-IV states that in view of the decision in "Mariyam Tirkey Vs. State of Jharkhand and Others",2014 1 JBCJ 465[HC] the State Empowered Committee in its meeting held on 16.02.2018 has taken a decision to pay leave encashment to all such teachers who are entitled for the same. 4. Accordingly, these writ petitions stand allowed with a direction to the concerned District Superintendent of Education/District Education officer to take steps for payment of leave encashment to these petitioners within six weeks, upon verification of their service records.
