JUDGMENT : Mahabir Singh Sindhu, J. Present petition has been filed praying for quashing FIR No.221 dated 27.12.2017, under Sections 323, 452 and 506, IPC, registered at Police Station City Ropar, District Ropar, on the basis of compromise entered into between the parties. 2. In terms of order dated 15.02.2018, passed by this Court, statements of both the parties were recorded by learned trial Court and report dated 28.02.2018 has been received from learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Rupnagar, which, inter alia, states that the compromise effected between the parties is genuine, voluntary and without any influence. Even before this Court, there is no objection by either of the parties if the FIR in question and the consequent proceedings are quashed and set aside. 3. No objection has been raised by the learned State counsel on a specific query put to him by the Court with regard to quashing of the FIR as well as all other consequential proceedings on the basis of the compromise effected between the parties in this case. 4. Consequently, the aforesaid FIR and all consequent proceedings resulting therefrom, qua petitioners only, are quashed and set aside. Petition is allowed.
