JUDGMENT : Chander Bhusan Barowalia, J. Police report stands filed. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Advocate General, on instructions from the Investigation Officer submits that the challan has been presented before the learned trial Court. On the other hand, learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner states that he will not press the present bail application at this moment and he may be allowed to withdraw the same. However, learned Senior Counsel has vehemently made a request that as the petitioner is a innocent student and his future is at stake, the learned Court below may be directed to expedite the trial of the case. 2. In view of the above, the petition is disposed of, as not pressed/withdrawn. 3. However, taking into consideration the age of the petitioner and the fact that he is behind the bars, it is expected that the learned trial Court will try to dispose of the matter on day to day basis.
