MAHABIR SINGH SINDHU

body2018
JUDGMENT : Mahabir Singh Sindhu, J. The present petition has been filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.45 dated 16.01.2018 (Annexure P-1), registered under Sections 342, 384, 379-B and 394 of the Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station Jhajjar, District Jhajjar. 2. It is contended by learned Counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 17.01.2018 and the investigation is complete and even the report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. has already been submitted. It is further contended that there is no other criminal case pending against the petitioner. 3. The above factual position is not disputed by learned State Counsel, on instructions from ASI Virender Singh. 4. In view of the fact that the petitioner is a lady and investigation is already complete and trial will take a long time, no useful purpose would be served by keeping the petitioner behind the bars and thus, it would be just and appropriate if the concession of bail is granted to the petitioner. Therefore, in view of the above-said circumstances, this petition is accepted. Petitioner-Manju is ordered to be released on regular bail on her furnishing adequate bail bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of the learned trial Court.
