JUDGMENT : Mahabir Singh Sindhu, J. Present petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.115 dated 04.05.2015, under Section 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, registered at Police Station Kotwali, District Bathinda. 2. This Court, while issuing notice of motion on 08.02.2018, passed the following order:- "It is contended that instead of 13.1.2018 a wrong date i.e. 12.1.2018 was noted by learned counsel representing the petitioner before learned trial Court and due to that reason he could not appear on 13.1.2018. Notice of motion for 20.3.2018. In the meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned trial Court within 10 days from today and in that eventuality the petitioner be admitted to interim bail to the satisfaction of the learned trial Court.” 3. Learned Counsel for the petitioner has produced on record the certified copy of order dated 14.02.2018, passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Bathinda to show that in terms of order dated 08.02.2018 of this Court, the petitioner has surrendered before learned trial Court and submitted the bail bonds and surety bonds. The said order is taken on record and marked as 'X'. 4. In view of above, it is apparently clear that the petitioner has joined the proceedings and thus the interim order dated 08.02.2018 of this Court is made absolute and the present petition stands disposed off. 5. It is directed that the petitioner shall fully co-operate with the learned trial Court and will not seek unnecessary adjournments.
