JUDGMENT : Daya Chaudhary, J. CM No. 21682-CII of 2017 This application is for placing on record an additional affidavit of the petitioner. 2. Application is allowed and additional affidavit of the petitioner annexed with the application is taken on record. COCP No.2913 of 2016 3. Learned State counsel submits that interest has been paid @ 9% per annum, whereas learned counsel for the petitioner submits that lesser amount has been paid and approximately there is a difference of amount of Rs.42,000/-. 4. Learned State counsel submits that the matter was kept pending and there was a delay of one month in releasing the payment and this difference is because of that period. 5. Respondents are directed to release the payment of that period also, as the interest is to be paid till the date when the amount was released. Respondents are also directed to re-calculate the amount properly and the payment be released within a period of two months after proper re- calculation. In case balance payment is not released within a period of two months, the petitioner is entitled to move application for revival of the contempt petition. In case the averments made by the petitioner in the affidavit are found to be incorrect or still there is a difference in the calculation, a speaking order be passed. Disposed of.
