JUDGMENT Sanjay Karol, A.C.J —Ms. Archna Dutt, learned counsel representing the petitioner, under instructions, states that petitioner shall be content if a direction is issued to the respondent/competent authority to consider and decide the representation, dated 1.10.2015 (Annexure P-8) expeditiously in the light of the direction issued by the appropriate authority i.e. Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, in case file No. 4885/Mukhya/2011, titled as The Municipal Corporation, Shimla versus Manvir Singh on 3.5.2014. 2. Learned Additional Advocate General has no objection to the above request. 3. No other point is urged. 4. Leaving the questions of law open, a direction is issued to the respondents/competent authority to consider and decide the petitioners'' representation dated 1.10.2015 (Annexure P-8) , in accordance with law, by affording due opportunity of hearing/ representation to the petitioner, within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. Petitioner is at liberty to place additional material on record. Needless to add, if the order is not in favour of the petitioner, the authority shall assign reasons while deciding the same, which shall be communicated to the petitioner. Liberty is reserved to the petitioner to approach the Court, if need so arises subsequently. 5. With these directions, the petition stands disposed of, so also pending applications, if any.
