JUDGMENT Sanjay Karol, A.C.J —Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, under instructions, does not press the present petition and submits that petitioners shall be content if they are permitted to approach the respondents by filing appropriate representation, clearly bringing out their grievances and respondents be directed to consider the decide the same in a time bound manner. State possibly may not have any objection to the same. 2. No other point urged. 3. Leaving the question of law open, it is open for the petitioners to approach the respondents/competent authority, as prayed for. As and when any such request/representation is received by the appropriate authority, the same shall be considered on its merits, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, by affording adequate opportunity of hearing/representation to the petitioners. Needless to add, if the order is not in favour of the petitioners, the authority shall assign reasons while deciding the same, which shall be communicated to the petitioners. Liberty granted to the petitioners to place additional material on record, if any. 4. With the aforesaid observations, petition stands disposed of, as also the pending application(s) , if any.
