ORDER : I.A. No. 12444/2018 (Mr. Dinesh Madan and Others) 1. It is the contention of learned counsel for the applicant that the basement of the property bearing No. E 5A, Hauz Khas Main Market, New Delhi is being used as an office by some lawyers. He says that the activity being a professional activity is permissible in terms of the Building Byelaws of 1983 and 2016. Conversion charges of Rs. 45 lacs have been paid for the entire building. 2. Issue notice. 3. Ms. Anitha Shenoy, learned counsel accepts notice and seeks some time to file a status report. 4. She may do so within 10 days. 5. The concerned officer of the South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) should deseal the basement to the extent that it can be used as a lawyers office until the next date of hearing. 6.
