JUDGMENT Ajay Kumar Mittal, J —The petitioner, under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, inter-alia, sought for issuance of a writ, order or direction especially in nature of certiorari, thereby quashing the impugned communication dated 09.11.2017 (Annexure P-12), vide which application of the petitioner for compounding construction has been returned without apprising the deficiencies and premises have been sealed without taking into consideration the mandate of law in defiance to the provisions of The Punjab Scheduled Road and Controlled Areas Restriction of Unregulated Development Act, 1963. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that during the pendency of the writ petition, some developments have taken place and therefore, the matter is pending consideration before the authorities concerned. He further submitted that in view thereof, he may be allowed to withdraw this writ petition, with liberty to challenge the adverse order, if any, passed by the authorities concerned. 3. Dismissed as withdrawn. It shall, however, be open to the petitioner to take recourse to the remedies as may be available to it, in accordance with law.
