JUDGMENT : MAHABIR SINGH SINDHU, J. 1. Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed praying for quashing of FIR No.59 dated 22.07.2012, under Sections 420 and 406 of the Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station Sadar, Rajpura, District Patiala along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom. 2. During the course of hearing, it has been pointed out by learned Senior Counsel that since there is no stay of the proceedings in the case and as such, the entire prosecution evidence has been concluded by learned trial Court and at the final stage, an application under Section 311 Cr.P.C. was moved by the prosecution but the same was rejected by learned trial Court. 3. Aggrieved against the order passed by learned trial Court, while rejecting the application under Section 311 Cr.P.C., revision petition was preferred by the prosecution and the same is pending and record of the trial Court has been summoned and thus, the trial has been delayed. 4. The limited prayer has been made that the Revisional Court be directed to decide the revision petition expeditiously so that the trial can be concluded at the earliest. 5. The submission seems to be justified and accepted. 6. Consequently, this petition is disposed off with a direction to the learned Revisional Court i.e. Additional Sessions Judge-3, Patiala to make an endeavour to decide the criminal revision petition titled as “Nachattar Singh Versus Sushil Kumar etc.” preferably on the date fixed or on the next date of hearing to be fixed as per convenience and thereafter, immediately transmit the record to the learned trial Court so that the trial can be concluded at the earliest. Disposed off with the above directions.
