JUDGMENT Shree Chandrashekhar, J. - Prayer in the writ petition is for payment of leave encashment to the petitioners. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the issue whether leave encashment is payable to the teachers of minority institutions or not has now been authoritatively decided by the Hon''ble Division Bench of this Court in " Mariyam Tirkey vs. State of Jharkhand and Others. , (2014) 1 JLJR 465 (HC)". The employee-late Nelly Minz was appointed as Assistant Teacher in Rayeen Urdu Girls High School, Ranchi. She superannuated on 31.10.2010 and Pension Intimation Memo was issued on 11.04.2002. 3. Grievance of the petitioners is that while pension and other post-retiral benefits were paid to late Nelly Minz, leave encashment was not paid to her. 4. Mr. Yogesh Modi, the learned State counsel tendering a copy of letter dated 13.07.2018 submits that a decision has been taken by the District Education Officer, Ranchi for payment of leave encashment for 34 days payable on superannuation of late Nelly Minz. 5. In the aforesaid fact, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the District Education Officer, Ranchi to make payment of leave encashment amount payable to the employee-late Nelly Minz to the petitioner no. 1. 6. The writ petition stands allowed in the aforesaid terms.
