JUDGMENT : MAHABIR SINGH SINDHU, J. 1. Present petition has been filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.) for grant of concession of anticipatory bail to the petitioners in case FIR No.17 dated 15.01.2018, under Sections 177, 419, 420, 465, 467, 468 and 120-B IPC, registered at Police Station Salem Tabri, Ludhiana. 2. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioners that in pursuance of order dated 07.03.2018, the petitioners have joined the investigation on 06.04.2018 and their custodial interrogation is no longer required. 3. The above factual position is duly acknowledged by learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Jatinder Kumar, by submitting that the custodial interrogation of the petitioners is not required in this case. 4. Although learned counsel for the complainant has opposed the bail application by stating that it is a serious matter, but keeping in view the fact that the petitioners have already joined the investigation and their custodial interrogation is not required by the police. therefore, order dated 07.03.2018 is made absolute, subject to the provisions of Section 438(2) Cr. P.C. 5. The above observations may not be construed as an expression of opinion on merits of the case. Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed off.
