body2018
JUDGMENT : Mahabir Singh Sindhu, J. Present petition has been filed for directing the official respondents i.e. respondent Nos.1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners, in view of the marriage solemnized by them against the wishes of respondent Nos. 4 to 10. 2. In compliance of the previous orders, passed by this Court, respondent No.4-Rajinder Singh s/o Harnek Singh, r/o Village and Post Office Maksudra, Tehsil Payal, District Ludhiana has been produced in Court by Inspector Gurmail Singh, SHO, Police Station Payal, Ludhiana. 3. Respondent No.4 has tried to justify his non-appearance on the earlier occassions on account of the fact that he was not feeling well and was seriously ill. 4. The explanation seems to be justified and accepted. 5. Learned Counsel for the petitioners has stated that both the petitioners are living a happily married life and are not apprehending threats to their life and liberty at the instance of respondent Nos.4 to 10 and they do not want to press the present petition. 6. In view of above, the present petition is disposed off as having been rendered infructuous. 7. It is made clear that in future if there is any apprehension of threat to the life and liberty of the petitioners then they are at liberty to approach this Court again.
