AMOL RATTAN SINGH

body2018
JUDGMENT : Amol Rattan Singh, J. In response to notice issued, though learned State counsel appears, the SI Gurmail Singh who is present in Court today to ostensibly assist him, has submitted that no enquiry has still been done with regard to either the previous marital status or the age of the petitioners, or the factum of any prohibited relationship between them. 2. However, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he may be allowed to withdraw the present petition. 3. Dismissed as withdrawn, with a direction that though the lives of the petitioners would be duly protected, however, as regards liberty, it will be protected only within the four corners of law and if any proceedings are brought by a competent person, stating that any of the averments made in the petition are actually false, especially with regard to the previous marital status of the petitioners, or with regard to any prohibited relationship between them, such proceedings would carry on as per law, to their logical conclusion.
