JUDGMENT Ajay Kumar Mittal, J —The petitioner, by way of public interest litigation filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is, inter alia, seeking a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent to stop functioning of the Dhanvantari Trauma Centre situated in the respondentUniversity wherein the emergency services have been shifted from 01.01.2018 and existing emergency ward shall only function for next one month i.e. 31.01.2018 as per Minutes of Meeting dated 27.12.2017 (Annexure P-1) even without arrangement of Blood Bank, CT Scan, Roads, Power Backup, UPS for the medical equipments, fire safety equipments as the same may pose a threat to the life and liberty of the public at large and thus violative of Article 21 of the Constitution of India. Further prayer has also been made to direct respondent No.2 to have necessary statutory compliances and also adequate measurers before opening of the said Center. 2. After arguing for sometime, the petitioner, who appears in person, submitted that he may be allowed to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to approach respondent No.2 for the relief claimed in this petition, in accordance with law. 3. Dismissed as withdrawn. 4. It shall, however, be open to the petitioner to take recourse to the remedies as may be available to him, in accordance with law.
