JUDGMENT : MAHABIR SINGH SINDHU, J. 1. Present petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to both the petitioners, namely, Lovepreet Singh and Jasmittar Singh in cross-case registered against them under Sections 326, 323, 506, 427, 148 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station Mattewal, District Amritsar in case bearing FIR No.62 dated 06.10.2017, under Sections 325, 341, 506, 148 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station Mattewal, District Amritsar. 2. This Court, while issuing notice of motion on 23.04.2018, passed the following order:- “It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioners that the a cross-version has been registered by complainant Krishan Lal on 27.10.2017 in FIR No.62 dated 6.10.2017 under Sections 325/341/506/148/149 IPC at Police Station Mattewal, District Amritsar as a counter-blast. Notice of motion for 23.5.2018. In the meanwhile, the petitioners are directed to join investigation before the Investigating Officer. In the event of their arrest, the Arresting Officer would admit them on interim bail till the next date of hearing on their furnishing adequate bail and surety bonds to his satisfaction. The petitioners are also directed to abide by all the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.” 3. Learned Counsel for the petitioners stated that in pursuance of order dated 23.04.2018 of this Court, both the petitioners have joined the investigation and their custodial interrogation is no longer required. 4. The above factual position is duly acknowledged by learned State Counsel, on instructions from ASI Surender Pal, by submitting that the petitioners have joined the investigation and their custodial interrogation is no longer required in this case. 5. In view of above, interim order dated 23.04.2018 of this Court is made absolute, subject to the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. and the present petition stands disposed off.
