JUDGMENT : AMOL RATTAN SINGH, J. 1. Pursuant to the order dated 15.5.2018, learned State counsel submits that as per enquiry conducted by the SHO, Police Station City, Rajpura, District Patiala, both the petitioners are above marriageable age, with learned counsel for the petitioners today having produced in Court what are stated to be the original certificates of their Senior Secondary School Examinations, showing that petitioner no.1 was born on 20.3.1999 and petitioner no.2 on 4.9.1996. 2. Learned State counsel further submits that they are not stated to be in any prohibited sapinda relationship to each other and not married earlier either of them. 3. That being so, without making any comment on the validity of the marriage or otherwise, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondents no.2 to 4 to ensure that the lives and liberty of the petitioners continue to be protected within the four corners of law.
