JUDGMENT & ORDER : 1. Heard Mr. SK Roy, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. N Sarma, learned Standing counsel, Education Department, Assam and Ms. DD Barman, learned State counsel. 2. The petitioner in response to an advertisement issued by the Director of Secondary Education, Assam for the post of Computer Instructor has submitted her candidature. As per the requirement of the advertisement, the application forms are to be submitted online. Accordingly, the petitioner submitted her online application and in respect of the column Enter the last service details as an ICT/RGCLP Teacher, the petitioner stated that she worked in Ghilaguri Katashbari Higher Secondary School for the period w.e.f. 17.06.2010 to 27.07.2012. The petitioner further stated that she also worked in Khoragaon Higher Secondary School w.e.f. 18.02.2013 to 05.09.2016 and again in Santidham Kalibari Higher Secondary School w.e.f. 05.09.2016 to 30.06.2017. 3. After submission of the application online, when the petitioner had taken a printout of her application bearing application No.170914890, it was noticed that against the service details as an ICT/RGCLP Teacher, the working period in Khoragaon Higher Secondary School is shown as 0. Accordingly, the petitioner has submitted a representation on 27.11.2017 before the Mission Director, RMSA, Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati. However, it is the grievance of the petitioner that inspite of the anomaly brought before the Mission Director, no consideration has been given to the grievance of the petitioner. 4. Prima facie, this Court is satisfied that if the petitioner has worked in the Khoragaon Higher Secondary School from 18.02.2013 to 05.09.2016 as indicated in her application submitted online, the work period for the same cannot be 0 as indicated in the printout application No. 170914890, which is computer generated. 5. Accordingly, the Mission Director, RMSA is directed to consider the said representation of the petitioner and verify from the petitioner as to the correct work experience of her in the Khoragaon Higher Secondary School. Upon such verification being made, the Mission Director shall do the needful for making the necessary correction in the computer generated application form of the petitioner bearing No. 170914890. 6. In the event, such corrections are required to be made by any other authority, the Mission Director shall do the needful to take up the matter with such authority for incorporating the necessary correction. 7.

The aforesaid exercise be undertaken within a period of 10 (ten) days from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, so as to ensure that the application of the petitioner gets its due consideration in the selection. 8.
