JUDGMENT : GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J. 1. The learned State counsel has today filed status report by way of affidavit of Ms. Amandeep Kaur, DSP, Sub-Division, Attari, District Amritsar-Rural wherein it has been deposed that statements of respondent No.4-Satnam Singh and respondent No.5-Dalbir Singh have been recorded who have stated that the petitioners have solemnized marriage and that they do not have any objection to their marriage. It has also been stated therein that the statements of the petitioners have also been recorded who have also stated that they have married and are living happily and safely at the house of petitioner No.2 and that they do not need any kind of security or police protection and that they do not have any threat from the private respondents or from anyone else. 2. In view of the aforestated position, the petition is rendered infructuous and is disposed of as such. 3. However, the petitioners would be at liberty to file a fresh petition if at subsequent stage they apprehend any threat to their lives and liberty.
