JUDGMENT : V. RAMASUBRAMANIAN, J. 1. This is an appeal filed by the State under Section 54 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, questioning the enhancement of compensation awarded by the Reference Court in L.A.O.P. No.554 of 2008. 2. Heard the learned Government Pleader for Appeals (Andhra Pradesh). 3. The judgment under appeal in L.A.O.P.No.554 of 2008, though passed separately, formed part of a batch of cases relating to acquisition of land for the development of Gangavaram Port back-up area. The compensation originally awarded by the Land Acquisition Officer was Rs.4,50,769/- per acre. The Reference Court enhanced the same to Rs.6,00,000/- per acre. 4. As against similar judgments rendered in L.A.O.P. Nos.552 and 553 of 2008, the Special Deputy Collector, Land Acquisition, Visakhapatnam, filed two separate appeals in L.A.A.S.Nos.75 and 76 of 2018. A Bench of this Court dismissed both the appeals by a judgment dated 25-4-2018. By the said judgment, the enhancement from Rs.4,50,769/- per acre to Rs.6,00,000/- per acre was confirmed. Therefore, following the same, this appeal is also dismissed. The interlocutory applications, if any, pending in this appeal shall stand closed. No costs.
