JUDGMENT Hon'ble Lok Pal Singh, J. Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. Present criminal revision has been filed against the judgment and order dated 08.08.2017 passed by the Sessions Judge, Dehradun in criminal appeal no. 99 of 2017 Manoj Punj vs. State and another directing the revisionist to deposit an amount of Rs. 7,50,000/- as amount of compensation to respondent no. 2. 3. Vide order dated 06.09.2017, the co-ordinate Bench has passed the interim order in the favour of the revisionist directing the revisionist to deposit 50% of compensation within six weeks. Thereafter, time extension application has been filed by the revisionist which was allowed vide order dated 13.10.2017 and time was extended to deposit the amount of compensation by 15.11.2017 only. 4. Learned counsel appearing for respondent no. 2 submits that pursuant to the order dated 13.10.2017 the amount of compensation has not paid till date. 5. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the fact that order dated 06.09.2017 passed by the co-ordinate Bench directing the revisionist to pay 50% of the compensation has not been complied with, therefore the order dated 06.09.2017 is liable to be vacated. 6. The order dated 06.09.2017 is hereby vacated. Also, perused the judgment and order dated 08.08.2017 passed by the court below. 7. There seems to be no illegality and infirmity in the judgment and order passed by the courts below. Moreover, the compensation awarded by the trial court seems to be justified under the facts and circumstances of the case. 8. Criminal revision has no merit and the same is hereby dismissed.
